A Mexican social media influencer was tragically shot and killed while livestreaming on TikTok. Valeria Márquez, 23, had gained popularity online with nearly 200,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram. During her recent live session, she suffered three back-to-back bullets.
The fatal incident occurred while Márquez was filming herself from her beauty salon, Blossom the Beauty Lounge.
In her blonde-highlighted hair, wearing a pink bralette, she is seen adjusting her camera. Even before she could speak to her viewers or wave them a "Hi", three gunshots are fired at her, ending the livestream in horror.

The chilling moment, captured on camera, shows her casually posing and briefly looking away before she is suddenly shot, not once but thrice. She was immediately pushed backward with the force of the bullet and blood oozed out on a glass table in front of her.
Investigation underway
Reports suggest she was hit in the chest and head, and was pronounced dead at the scene. This was confirmed by The New York Post, which quoted police sources to inform that she was murdered by a motorbike-riding gunman pretending to deliver a gift. An investigation is underway and the cops are trying to track down the gunman.
News of her death quickly spread across social media platforms. On X (formerly Twitter), one user posted, “Mexican influencer Valeria Márquez was shot 3 times live. A delivery man arrived, asked her name, and executed her. She was 23 years old.”
