"NOT a breach of Steam systems" - Steam dismisses reports of data leak as fake
The recent news stating that there might be a data breach that affected 89 million Steam accounts raised concern, but the commonly used PC gaming platform responded by saying that the breach was true, but there is no breach to user accounts, they only "breached older text messages - relating to two-factor authentication tokens in the text".
