IndiGo Launches Daily Direct Flights Between Mumbai And Fujairah, Expands UAE Network To 5 Destinations

Mumbai: IndiGo commenced daily direct flights connecting Mumbai to Fujairah, which has become its 41st international destination, Fujairah. This marks IndiGo’s fifth destination with direct connectivity in the UAE after Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah.

On Thursday, IndiGo launched its direct flights between Mumbai and Fujairah, as announced on April 12. The inaugural flight 6E1509 departed from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 8.10am and reached Fujairah at 9.30am. The return flight 6E1510 departed at 10.30am and reached Mumbai at 2.55pm.

The route will see regular daily flights from Friday as Flight 6E1501 will depart from Mumbai at 1.10am and reach Fujairah at 2.40am. Similarly, Flight return flight 6E1502 will leave from Fujairah at 12.25am and reach Mumbai at 4.50am. On the other hand, the inaugural flight from Kannur 6E1503 will depart at 8.55pm on Tursday and reach Fujairah at 11.25pm, which will again return at 3.40am and reach Kannur at 9am.

The newly launched direct flight from Fujairah to Mumbai, followed by Kannur, is said to have come at a favourable time as Fujairah strengthens its position on the global adventure map. Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah are planning to launch UAE’s first cross-emirate adventure trial. This is expected to open up new experiences for Indian travellers seeking immersive outdoor getaways.

Meanwhile, the strategically planned flight timings carefully coordinated with bus arrival and departure timings are designed to ensure a seamless, hassle-free travel experience for those exploring the UAE, from the cultural charm of Sharjah to the iconic skyline of Dubai and the natural beauty of Fujairah.
