IPL 2025: Full List Of Overseas Players Available & Unavailable For Remaining Matches
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is scheduled to resume on May 17 (Saturday) after a brief suspension amid the India-Pakistan cross-border tensions, but uncertainty still looms over the availability of several overseas players. Whether due to packed international schedules or team concerns, some foreign stars are confirmed absentees for the remainder of the tournament, while many others are expected to stay on and continue playing.
Here’s a breakdown of the overseas players who are available and unavailable for each IPL franchise.
Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians' biggest challenge will be replacing Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks, who will exit after the group stage. With 336 and 195 runs respectively, their absence could upset the team's balance.

Gujarat Titans
GT are strong title contenders, but the absence of Jos Buttler and Kagiso Rabada could deal a major blow to their chances. Buttler has been in sublime form, scoring 500 runs in 11 matches, while Rabada, though limited to just two games is a proven match-winner the team would have liked in the mix. As per recent reports, Buttler won’t return and Kusal Mendis is set to join the squad instead.
