Security Forces Eliminate Two Major Terror Modules in Kashmir; Shahid Qutay Among 6 Militants Killed

Security forces have achieved a significant breakthrough in Kashmir by conducting two successful anti-terror operations on May 13 and May 15, neutralizing six terrorists, including top Lashkar terrorist Shahid Qutay. One operation took place in the forests of Shopian’s Keller area, while the other was in Tral’s valley region. Both missions targeted different terrains—one in high-altitude jungles, the other within a populated village. In the Shopian encounter, terrorists opened fire after being challenged, leading to a fierce gunfight. In Tral, terrorists tried to use civilian homes as shields, but security forces safely evacuated villagers before systematically neutralizing the militants.Shahid Qutay was involved in several high-profile attacks, including the murder of a sarpanch in Heerpora and the assault on a German tourist. His associate had links to killings of migrant laborers. The Army, CRPF, and J&K Police, with precise intelligence coordination, successfully dismantled these modules, marking a major blow to terror networks.
