'Divide and conquer': West trying to pit India against China, says Russian foreign minister Lavrov

Sergei Lavrov, the Russian foreign minister, has accused the West of attempting to create discord between India and China by promoting an anti-China agenda in the Indo-Pacific region. He warned that Western powers are also trying to diminish ASEAN's role in regional affairs by undermining consensus and encouraging divisive groupings.
