Madhya Pradesh: Tension Grips Seoni After Two Youths Stabbed To Death; Protest Results Heavy Damage
Seoni (Madhya Pradesh): A major protest erupted in Madhya Pradesh Seoni district on Saturday morning after two youth were stabbed to death in Keolari area a night ago.
The protestors even blocked the roads and torched shops, vehicles and tyres on fire.
According to the information, two youths were attacked with a sharp objects on Friday night over unknown reasons.
Both of them were admitted in Seoni's district hospital, however, they succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment.
Locals accused the cops for negligence and now are raising voices for swift action.

During the protest, the angry mob in Keolari headquarters blocked the Chandni Chowk and surrounded the Keolari police station premises. People torched tyres and set fire in a liquor store.
There are speculations, that some vehicles came under the grip of arson and were turned into ashes, however, there is no official confirmation on the same.
Commercial establishments remained closed throughout the day in the area, and vehicular movements were effectively halted for any further damage.
Protestors demanded Keolari police station in-charge Brajesh Uike's resignation and also called out to draw conclusion immediately over the brutal murder case. The police initially used mild force to manage the crowd but refrained from major action as senior officials arrived on the scene.
Liquor store turned into ashes Heavy police forces deployed
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar Mehta, Additional Superintendent of Police GD Sharma and other police officials of the district have reached Keolari and taken charge.
A large number of police forces including Keolari SDOP Ashish Bharade are deployed in the area.
According to the officials, the situation in Keolari is completely under the control. Soon, after reaching an agreement with the victim's family, the post-mortem of the bodies of the deceased will be done.
In view of the tense situation, a large number of police forces have been deployed in Keolari.
