Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025: Back after 5 years—route, dates, and preparations

After a five-year hiatus, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is set to resume in June 2025 via the Nathula Pass in Sikkim. Suspended due to the pandemic and border tensions, this significant pilgrimage for Indian devotees will now utilize the shorter, easier Nathula route. The Sikkim government is enhancing infrastructure, including acclimatization centers, to ensure pilgrim safety.
