Paras Defence Surges On Drone JV, Strong Order Book & Defence Push Drive 142% Rally From April Lows

Mumbai: Paras Defence and Space Technologies shares hit a new high of Rs 1,943.60 on Monday, rising 8 per cent during intraday trade. The stock has gone up for five straight days, jumping 41 per cent in just one week. From a low of Rs 802 on April 7, 2025, the stock has zoomed 142 per cent.

At 09:42 AM, the shares were trading at Rs 1,857.30, up 3 per cent, while the BSE Sensex was down 0.14 per cent.

JV with HevenDrones Lifts Hopes

On May 5, 2025, Paras Defence announced a joint venture with Israel-based HevenDrones. The JV will build advanced drones in India for defence and homeland security. These drones will be used for border operations, surveillance, and logistics.

The JV will also aim to export these drones after meeting India’s demand. This move supports India’s push for self-reliance in defence technology.

Strong Financial Results

For FY25, Paras Defence reported solid earnings. Net profit nearly doubled, revenue rose 35.8 per cent, and Ebitda margins stood at 26.2 per cent. The company also has a strong order book of over Rs 900 crore.

Stock Split to Improve Liquidity

On April 30, 2025, the company announced a 1:2 stock split. One share of Rs 10 will now become two shares of Rs 5 each. This makes the stock more affordable and could attract more retail investors.

A stock split increases the number of shares in the market without changing the company’s total value. It often improves liquidity and investor participation.

MoU with Israeli Firm

On April 3, Paras Defence signed an MoU with MicroCon Vision Ltd, Israel, a part of the Rafael Group. This deal makes Paras the exclusive supplier of advanced drone camera tech in India. The cameras will be available at a lower cost and strengthen India’s defence systems.
