India's Diplomatic Push To Corner Pakistan

In the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, the Modi government has struck a unifying note by including Opposition leaders in its diplomatic outreach under Operation Sindoor - 59 MPs from across political parties will travel to 32 countries and explain India's position, the new normal that it has adopted as its counter to terror. The tours are all set to begin by the end of this week and in fact, MPs will start getting briefed soon by experts and officials. Parties such as Congress and TMC have criticised the government's approach of finalising these names on its own, without making it solely a decision of the parties that these MPs represent. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Monday too has briefed members of the Standing Committee on External Affairs.
