Mohanlal wraps up shoot of Sathyan Anthikad's 'Hridayapoorvam'

 

Mohanlal has finished filming for the wildly anticipated family drama film Hridayapoorvam, directed by Sathyan Anthikad.  He celebrated the wrap-up with a heartwarming social media post, sharing a group picture of the cast and crew.  In his post, Mohanlal stated, "That's it!  See you on the big screen.  #Hridayapoorvam," throwing followers into an uprising of eagerness in the hearts of many.

 

 

The fans are looking forward to the movie as they show their unwavering support in their comments like "ഹൃദയം കൊണ്ട് സ്വീക്കരിക്കട്ടെ" (Let's accept it with our hearts), "നടനവിസ്മയത്തിന്റെ സൂപ്പർ ഹിറ്റുകൾ തുടരും" (The hits of the acting legend will continue forever).  Other admirers left supportive comments such as "Next Onam thook", "Next Blockbuster loading", "Best Wishes Lal etta", and "Next 100Cr loading".

 

 

The film represents another anticipated collaboration between Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad, a duo recognized for crafting unforgettable family dramas that won over numerous audiences, with their last collaboration being the film Ennum Eppozhum (2015).  Hridayapoorvam is Anthikad's first collaboration with both of his sons.  

 

At Aashirvad Cinemas' 25th anniversary celebration in Kochi in late January 2025, Anthikad publicly declared that the narrative was written by his son, Akhil Sathyan, with his twin brother, Anoop Sathyan, serving as the assistant director. 

 

Mohanlal, Malavika Mohanan, and Sangita Madhavan Nair play the key roles in Hridayapoorvam, along with Sangeeth Prathap, Siddique, Sabitha Anand, Baburaj, Nishan, Lalu Alex, Janardhanan, and S. P. Charan. 

 

 

The conclusion of Hridayapoorvam coincides with the successfully ongoing theatrical run of Mohanlal's most recent blockbuster, Thudarum.  The film has completed 25 successful days at the box office, accumulating more than Rs 114.80 crore in India.  His other recent release, L2: Empuraan, too, had an enormous impact, becoming the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time and the second-highest-grossing Indian film of the year.

Hridayapoorvam is expected to premiere on August 25, 2025.
