Moreover, Romancham’s massive success also paved the way for its Bollywood remake titled Kapkapii. Directed by the late Sangeeth Sivan, the film features Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade in lead roles, alongside supporting cast including, Sonia Rathee, Siddhi Idnani, Abishek Kumar, Jay Thakkar, Varun Pandey, Dherendra Tiwari, and Dinkar Sharma. Bankrolled by Jayesh Patel and Umesh Kumar, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 23, 2025.
