After many states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi, now Naib Saini of Haryana and Yogi Adityanath government of UP have announced summer holidays in schools. During this time schools will remain closed till June 30 and will open again on July 1.

Haryana Education Department has announced holidays in all government and private schools. These holidays will be from 1 to 30 June 2025 and schools will open again from July 1. There will be summer vacation in 1.33 lakh council schools of UP from 20 May 2025, which will last for a full 26 days i.e. till June 15. After this, schools will reopen from June 16. However, summer camps will be organized in upper primary and composite schools from 21 May to 10 June.

Holidays in MP-Chhattisgarh till June 15, schools closed in Delhi till 30

Summer holidays for school students in Madhya Pradesh have started from May 1, which will continue till June 15. These holidays are applicable to all private and government schools in the state simultaneously.

Summer holidays will remain in schools in Chhattisgarh till June 15, 2025.

Summer vacations for classes 1 to 12 have started in Tamil Nadu, which will continue till June 1.

Summer holidays in Delhi schools have started from May 11 and will end on June 30. However, teachers will have to report to schools from June 28.

Holidays in Chandigarh from May 23

Summer holidays will start from May 23 in more than 120 government schools in Chandigarh which will continue till June 30, that is, there will be a holiday for 39 days in the schools of Chandigarh and then the schools will reopen on July 1.

The Education Department has instructed all teachers to attend school by June 28 and review the preparations for the next session.

In the month of May, schools will remain closed in many states due to Kazi Najrul Islam Jayanti on 24th, Sunday on 25th and Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji on 30th. However, these holidays will be different according to different states.
