'Maoist organisation headless': How a 72-hr op took out top commander
In a major anti-Maoist operation, Chhattisgarh's DRG jawans killed 27 Maoists in Abujhmarh forests, Narayanpur. Sources claim CPI (Maoist) general secretary Basava Raju, carrying a Rs 1.5 crore bounty, was among those eliminated. One DRG jawan was also killed in the encounter. The operation followed extensive planning based on intelligence inputs confirming Raju's presence.
