Preparations to start MHHSR

Indian Railways is now preparing to start the Mumbai-Hyderabad High-Speed ​​Rail (MHHSR). On completion of this project, the 14-16 hour journey from Mumbai to Hyderabad will be reduced to just three hours. This 767 km long bullet train corridor will connect Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad. It will have 11 stations, which may also include Navi Mumbai International Airport.

Features of the train

The speed of the train will be 320 kmph, which can go up to a maximum of 350 kmph. It will have earthquake detection system (UrEDAS), digital signaling and mixed track (above-below ground and flat track). Talking about the ticket price, it will be 1.5 times more than the first-class AC train, which will be premium but affordable.

Survey, study and route planning is going on

The construction work of this project has not started yet. But survey, study and route planning is going on. This is one of the six high-speed railway corridors to be built in the country. Work is already going on on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad line. After the start of this train, tourism will be promoted, traffic will be reduced and the level of rail travel will improve. Mumbai-Hyderabad high-speed rail will give a new direction to the future of railways in India. It will not only save time, but will also provide world-class facilities to the passengers.

17 hours journey will be completed in three hours

Earlier, it was also reported that Indian Railways is preparing to start bullet train service on Delhi-Howrah route. The travel time will be reduced from 17 hours to just three hours with the high speed train. Delhi-Howrah bullet train will pass through stations like Buxar, Patna and Gaya. There will be separate stations for bullet train in these districts, which will make the journey easier for the passengers. The train will start from Delhi and go to Varanasi via Buxar, Patna and Gaya and then reach Howrah. That means the journey to Patna can be completed in two and a half to three hours.
