Jaishankar in Netherlands: Links Munir to Terror, Rejects Trump’s Mediation Claim | ABP NEWS

In a strong statement from the Netherlands, Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar exposed Pakistan's duplicity on terrorism. Referring to the recent Pahalgam terror attack, he revealed that 26 tourists were brutally killed in front of their families after being asked about their religion—an act he described as deeply disturbing and rooted in extremist ideology. Dr. Jaishankar pointed fingers at Pakistan’s military leadership, particularly Army Chief Asim Munir, suggesting a link between his radical ideology and the growing terrorist attacks. He highlighted that Munir’s thoughts reflect a fundamentalist mindset, indirectly fueling cross-border terrorism. Responding to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s claims of mediating a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, Jaishankar firmly dismissed the idea, stating that any ceasefire discussions happened directly between New Delhi and Islamabad without third-party involvement. He clarified that India told the U.S. it would only engage with Pakistan directly, leading to Pakistan initiating contact itself.
