Google introduces SynthID Detector to identify AI-generated content at Google I/O 2025

At Google I/O 2025, Google introduced SynthID Detector, a verification portal designed to identify AI-generated content created with Google AI. The portal scans uploaded media for SynthID watermarks, highlighting sections most likely to be watermarked in images, audio, video, and text. Google has begun rolling out SynthID Detector to early testers, with wider access expected soon.
