Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched a new add-on feature in its family postpaid plans, through which customers can now add 8 additional members to their existing family plan at Rs 299 per member. Earlier, a maximum of 5 people could join Vi’s family plans, but now this number has increased to 9 1 primary and 8 secondary members.

What is the new Vi add-on feature?

According to Vi’s new announcement, existing family postpaid customers will now get the facility to add more members without upgrading their plan. This feature gives more flexibility and value to the customers. Vi users will now get these benefits in the family plan:

– Rs 299 per month per additional member

– Every member will get 40GB high-speed data

– Benefits like voice calling, SMS and OTT

– Easily add new members from Vi App

Which plans are getting this benefit?

Vi’s family postpaid plans can take advantage of this benefit, this plan starts at Rs 701. This basic plan already includes one primary and one secondary member. Now customers can add 7 more people to this plan, so that a total of 9 people can be connected to the same account.

Apart from this, Vi has two more family plans priced at Rs 1201 and Rs 1401. These plans also offer premium benefits like: Swiggy One membership, EazyDiner subscription, more data and access to OTT apps.
