MP Deepender Hooda visits kin of martyr, pays tributes
Congress MP from Rohtak Deepender Hooda today visited the house of soldier Manoj Phogat, a resident of Samaspur village, who was martyred in Kapurthala, Punjab, while protecting the motherland. He paid tributes to the martyr and consoled the soldier’s family. Hooda said Manoj had made the supreme sacrifice while performing his duty towards the country.
Later, talking to mediapersons, Deepender said there should be a thorough investigation as to who were traitors and where they were hiding. They should be identified and action must be taken. The culprits should not be spared in any case, he said.
He further said the Chief Minister was being controlled by a remote. “This is why the people of the state are not getting relief from the problems,” he stated.
“The remote-run state government has failed to take care of the happiness and sorrows of the people of Haryana. The BJP government in the state has failed to make arrangements for water and electricity. If the Haryana Government had appointed officers in the BBMB on time in the water dispute case with Punjab, such a problem would not have arisen,” he added.
“For the last several years, the BJP government did not appoint officers from the Haryana quota, so there was no one to monitor it. This is why Punjab took away Haryana’s right to water and the people of Haryana are suffering in the peak summer season. Those who had the responsibility of protecting Haryana’s rights completely failed to do so,” he pointed out.
