Many times students block a seat in NEET PG counseling. But do not join later. Due to which the students who are really deserving suffer a loss. Now the Supreme Court has given a big decision on this. While hearing this case, the bench of Justice J.B. Pardiwala and Justice R. Not only this, the Supreme Court gave strict instructions that the security fees of such candidates will also be confiscated and all the colleges found involved in this process will also be blacklisted.
How does seat blocking happen?
For those who don’t know how seat blocking happens, let us tell you that this happens when candidates temporarily accept a seat. But as soon as they get a seat of a preferred option, they leave the first seat. Due to this, many seats of the first round remain vacant. Which are re-opened only in the later rounds.
The biggest loss is faced by those students whose rank is better. But they have got a college of less choice and they get committed to it. Apart from this, delay in state counseling, adding or deleting seats at the last minute and lack of clarity in category quota further aggravate this problem.
