When banks are closed, you cannot do work like cash deposit or withdrawal, check clearing, passbook update in the bank branch. Banks will be closed every Sunday i.e. 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th in May 2025. Apart from this, banking services will not be available on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month i.e. 10th and 24th May. Apart from this, banks will remain closed in some states on Buddha Purnima (May 12), State Day (May 16), Kazi Nazrul Jayanti (May 26), and Maharana Pratap Jayanti (May 29).
