AIIMS-Bhopal Students Launch ‘House Of Clubs’ To Promote Wellness And Creativity
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): AIIMS, Bhopal launched the “House of Clubs” — a dynamic student-led space that aims to foster creativity, build community bonds, and serve as a much-needed stress buster for students navigating the rigors of medical education.
The dedicated Student Council Room, situated near the gym area, has been allocated by the Director as a permanent space for student activities, forming the heart of this initiative.
This timely decision has paved the way for a diverse set of student-run clubs to thrive and grow. The “House of Clubs” currently includes a Dance Club, Music Club, Drama, Movie Club, Book, Magazine Club, and Photography and Videography Club.
These clubs are curated to help students pursue their interests outside the academic domain and offer a constructive outlet for stress, ultimately contributing to their holistic development.
The initiative was inaugurated with an energetic and soulful music jamming session that brought together students from various batches in a spirit of unity and celebration.
The inaugural event marked the beginning of what is expected to be a series of engaging and enriching extracurricular activities designed to enhance campus life.
AIIMS director Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, said, “understanding the critical need for student-centered spaces that promote emotional well-being and collaborative growth. We believe that a healthy mind is just as important as academic excellence. The ‘House of Clubs’ represents a significant step toward creating a more inclusive and vibrant campus environment where students can express themselves, connect with peers, and grow beyond the classroom.”
