Deadly storms kill 18, injure nearly 100 across Pakistan's Punjab province

Severe storms in Pakistan's Punjab province have resulted in at least 18 fatalities and numerous injuries. Dilapidated buildings collapsed, causing most deaths, particularly in Jhelum, Rawalpindi, and Lahore. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has placed rescue teams on high alert. The National Disaster Management Authority had issued warnings for Punjab, Islamabad, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, anticipating thunderstorms and windstorms in vulnerable districts.
