Visa Free Entry: Citizens of 43 countries can go to America without visa, see if India is in the list or not
The US visa waiver program is available to citizens of 43 countries, which now includes Romania as well. This program allows citizens to travel or visit the US for business or tourism for up to 90 days without a visa. India is not currently included in this list, so Indian citizens must obtain a visa to travel to the US. However, India will have to fulfill certain conditions to be included in the future.
Visa Free Entry: Until April 2025, the US Visa Waiver Program (VWP) allows citizens of 43 countries of the world to come to America without a visa. These people can stay in the US for 90 days for tourism or business purposes. The purpose of this program is to strengthen relations between countries and make travel easier.
This program runs under the supervision of the US Department of Homeland Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Citizens of the countries included in it can come to America without a visa, and in return US citizens can also go to those countries without a visa. Let’s know which are the countries where you can go without a visa.

Is India included in this?
India is not included in this list yet. Indian citizens are required to obtain a visa before going to the US, whether the purpose is to travel or work. Talks are going on between India and the US so that India can also be included in this program in the future. But for this India will have to fulfill some conditions – such as reducing the visa rejection rate, increasing passport security, and giving visa-free entry to US citizens to India.
Necessary permission before traveling
Those who are from the 43 countries that are included in the VWP have to get permission from ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before traveling. They must also have a special passport with a biometric chip embedded in it. Another important thing is that if you travel to Canada, Mexico or some Caribbean countries while transiting the US, that time will also count towards the same 90 days.
In short, this program makes travel to and from the US easier and promotes cooperation between countries. India is not a part of it yet, but discussions are on – and hopefully India will be able to join it in the future.
