Video: Massive Fire Erupts At Noida Car Garage, Dozen Vehicles Destroyed

A massive fire broke out at a car garage in Noida Sector 6 on Sunday, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The blaze, which started at around 7:30 am, rapidly spread, engulfing dozens of cars parked inside. The fire department received a distress call and promptly dispatched a team to the scene.

The fire was so intense that it took the efforts of five fire trucks to bring it under control. Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with flames rising high into the air and cars being reduced to ashes. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, as the garage was unoccupied at the time of the incident.

Short Circuit Suspected

Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the fire. However, a detailed probe is underway to determine the exact cause of the blaze.

What's particularly concerning is the apparent lack of fire safety measures at the garage. Residents say that the fire could have spread to nearby areas if the fire department hadn't come quickly. The incident has raised questions about the preparedness and safety protocols in place at such establishments.

Tragic Fire at Delhi E-Rickshaw Charging Station

Meanwhile, early Sunday morning, a terrible fire at a charging station for electric rickshaws in Shahdara, East Delhi, killed two people and hurt four others, officials told PTI.

At about 6:40 a.m., the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) got an emergency call informing them of a fire near Ram Mandir on Moti Ram Road. Five fire trucks were sent to the scene right away in response.

The fire started in a 400-square-yard shed that was being used to charge electric rickshaws. Despite the quick reaction, the fire killed many people and damaged a lot of property, showing how badly these places need better safety measures.
