Atmanirbhar Bharat push: AMCA plan gets green light; all you need to know
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved the AMCA Programme Execution Model, aiming to boost indigenous defence capabilities. The Aeronautical Development Agency will collaborate with industry partners to develop the AMCA prototype, a fifth-generation stealth fighter jet. While the first two squadrons will use GE-F414 engines, the next five will feature 110 kilonewton engines, with production expected by 2035.
