This year, Alia Bhatt made a stunning red-carpet debut at Cannes Film Festival, leaving fans in awe of her impeccable style quotient. Recently, in a conversation with Brut, the actress revealed that she would loved to collaborate with Fahadh Faasil, and has a deep admiration for Malayalam cinema.
When asked whom she would love to work with in the future, Alia showered praise for her Darlings co-star Roshan Mathew and said, “There’s so many actors and there’s so much talent out there. I had the good fortune of working with Roshan Mathew on Darlings, who’s, of course, a wonderful actor, who’s done a lot of Malayalam content. But, is now also making waves in Hindi.”
Alia then praised Fahadh Fassil and his talent, mentioning his terrific performance in the film Aavesham. She said, “Fahad Faasil is someone I really admire, his work, and he’s such a fantastic actor. I think Aavesham was one of my favourite films. He was just unreal. So I would love to collaborate with him someday.” This comes following Imtiaz Ali’s announcement that Fahadh will make his Bollywood debut soon with The Idiot of Istanbul.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in 2024 film Jigra. For her next, she’ll be reuniting with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly-anticipated release Love & War. She is also shooting for Alpha with Sharvari Wagh, which will be part of YRF’s spy universe.
