New Delhi: Lionel Messi scored a spectacular free kick in Inter Miami’s 3-3 tie with the Philadelphia Union, adding to his impressive career achievements.

Lionel Messi showed why he is so skilled at 37 by scoring a goal in the 87th minute that helped his team, Inter Miami, draw 3-3 against the Philadelphia Union. This was his sixth goal of the season, contributing to Inter Miami’s comeback from a two-goal deficit.

With his most recent goal from a close-range free kick, Messi now has more such goals than either Cristiano Ronaldo or David Beckham, two of the best free-kick shooters ever.

This season’s performance is markedly different from last season’s.

“We’re coming off a period of bad results,” Messi told Apple TV after the Orlando game. “But we have to keep working and think about what’s next. With three or four games left in May, we (have to) finish the best possible way to be able to face the Club World Cup.”
