YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s father meets her in jail

YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s father Harish Malhotra visited her in the jail here today. She was sent to jail on the completion of her nine-day police custody on the charges of spying for Pakistan.

Sources said she reiterated her innocence during the meeting with her father and urged him to take medicines and meals on time. They also discussed hiring a private lawyer to fight the case. Jyoti has been provided the services of lawyers empanelled with the District Legal Services Authority.

Later, during an interaction with the media at his home, Harish claimed that Jyoti was being implicated and expressed confidence that she would be released soon.

Jyoti was produced in the court on Monday, which sent her to 14-day judicial custody.
