‘Abe bol kya rahe ho?’: When Salman Khan made fun of this famous singer
Actor Salman Khan has launched many artists in the industry. Apart from actors and actresses, he has also helped singers achieve success and fame. One of them was Himesh Reshammiya. The singer got his big break when Salman recognised his musical talent and offered him two songs in Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998). After that, there was no looking back, as the duo collaborated on films like Tere Naam, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, and Bodyguard.
Himesh Reshammiya holds immense respect for Salman Khan and has often openly praised the actor. He has credited Salman for helping him get work in the industry. Once, when Salman appeared on the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, where Himesh was also a part of the panel, Himesh referred to him as his godfather.
Himesh Reshammiya said, “For me, Salman bhai is my godfather.” Salman started laughing as soon as he heard this and said, “First you call me Salman bhai then you call me godfather. What ate you saying? (Abe bol kya rahe ho?)”. After this Himesh said, “The platform I have got is because of Salman bhai, otherwise I would not have come into the music industry. He has helped me a lot.”
Himesh has sung many superhit songs in his career. Apart from being a singer, he has also worked as an actor. Recently, he was seen in the film ‘Bad Ass Ravi Kumar’.
