Delhi Weather Update: A Rollercoaster Ride Continues
Delhi's weather continues its unpredictable swing between heat and rain, leaving residents wondering what's causing this May mayhem. For now, the weather department forecasts generally normal weather for Wednesday, adding that the monsoon's arrival in Delhi is not yet in sight.
According to the Meteorological Department, Wednesday will see partly cloudy skies with a possibility of light thundershowers in some areas. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 39 degrees Celsius, and the minimum around 27 degrees Celsius. Similar partly cloudy conditions are predicted for May 29th.
Heavy Rains to Usher in June!
Delhi is forecast to experience thundershowers from May 30th to June 2nd. Wind speeds of 30-60 km/h are possible on May 30th. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 36-37 degrees Celsius, and the minimum between 26-27 degrees Celsius. Light rain is also predicted for May 30th and 31st, with winds gusting up to 30-50 km/h.

Relative humidity fluctuated between 80% and 59%. According to the IMD, the 24-hour rainfall was in the "trace" category (between 0.01 mm and 0.04 mm).
Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 97 at 6 PM, falling under the 'Satisfactory' category according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). However, the 24-hour average AQI for Delhi is not yet available.
