Indian Railways can provide expensive travel at low fares, know the special rules of Railways

Indian Railways – The rule of the railway is that from 8 pm to 6 am, a child below 12 years of age can travel with his mother in the first AC or ladies coach, even if his ticket is in second AC. Even the TT cannot refuse this.

Indian Railways Rules: Travelling in First AC in train is the most luxurious and convenient and if you get a coupe then what can be said. Because only two people travel in it. But its fare is the most expensive, due to the high price of the ticket, common people are not able to take advantage of it. However, the railway has a special rule which gives a chance to enjoy First AC even at a low fare. Let’s know what this rule is-

If you are planning to travel by train in future and did not get a confirmed ticket in First AC, but your wife or daughter has a ticket in First AC. Your son’s ticket is in Second AC, then there is a special facility. You can take advantage of it. From 8 pm to 6 am, your son below 12 years of age can travel with his mother in the First AC coupe. During this time, even the TTE (ticket checker) cannot refuse. In this way, you can get the facility of First AC even with a low fare ticket. However, there is a condition that the rule will be applicable only if both the passengers in the coupe are women.

Only children are allowed

Similarly, the railways have a special rule for the ladies coach as well. Generally, men are not allowed to travel in the ladies coach. But if a woman is travelling in the ladies coach and her son is in some other coach, then from 8 pm to 6 am, that son can travel with his mother in the ladies coach. The condition for this is also that the age of the son should be less than 12 years. According to the railway manual, a child below 12 years of age can travel with his mother in the first AC or ladies coach at night.

Beneficial rule

This rule is especially helpful for those families who want to keep their children with their mother in a safe and comfortable manner at night. This not only provides convenience to the passengers, but also gives an opportunity to travel in a better coach at a lower fare. These rules of the railways have been made keeping in mind the needs of the passengers, so that their journey is easy and safe.
