Patna Shocker: Biker Duo Fires Gunshots In Broad Daylight On Streets; Tejashwi Yadav Slams BJP-NDA's 'Mangal Raj' (VIDEO)

Patna, Bihar: In a blatant violation of traffic rules, a video of two men firing gunshots from a moving motorcycle in the heart of Patna reignited the political debate on Bihar’s deteriorating law and order.

The incident, which reportedly took place near the busy Boring Road intersection, shows the pillion rider on a bullet motorcycle firing two rounds in the air in broad daylight, while onlookers appear shocked.

The clip, which went viral on social media, led to fierce criticism of the ruling BJP-NDA alliance, especially from the Opposition. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav was among the first to share the video on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, using it as a pointed attack on the state government.

Have a look at his post here:

Posting the video, Yadav wrote, “Road show of Mangalraj criminals in the capital Patna with firing in broad daylight! Bihar’s uncontrolled crime, rampant criminals, and ruined law and order are not a topic of debate for the Godi media, because now there is a BJP-NDA government in Bihar which serves their class interests.”

The remark is a direct reference to the NDA government’s alleged failure to rein in criminal elements in the state. The term “Mangalraj” is frequently used by critics to describe a breakdown of governance and order.

A Patna police official, speaking to Hindustan News, said, “We have taken note of the viral video. Identification of the individuals involved is underway and strict action will be taken.”
