29-Year-Old Woman Hangs Self To Death Soon After Dinner With Husband In MP’s Gwalior

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A 29-year-old woman hanged herself to death shortly after having dinner with her husband in Gwalior on Tuesday.

The reason behind her suicide is still unknown. Police are currently investigating the case and looking into all possible details.

The girl named Pooja Soni died by suicide late at night in the Mahalgaon City Center area of Gwalior.

According to information, the incident took place around 11 PM, when her husband had gone out for a walk after dinner.

According to the police, Pooja lived with her husband Sagar Soni near Vishal Kirana Store in Mahalgaon. The couple got married six years ago and had a young daughter.

Sagar told police that both had dinner together, and after that, he stepped out for a walk nearby.

When he came back, he found the door locked from inside. After several knocks and no response, he looked through the window above the door and saw Pooja hanging from the ceiling.

He shouted for help, broke the door, and rushed inside, but by then, it was too late. He immediately informed both her family and the police.

At present, the police are trying to find out why Pooja took such a step. Her family has not yet been questioned, as they are in deep shock. Police are waiting for them to be emotionally stable before taking their statements.

The University Police Station in Gwalior confirmed it was a case of suicide, but said the exact reason is still not clear. They are looking into all possible angles, and further action will be based on the facts that come out during the investigation.
