Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025: The Maharashtra Department of School Education and Sports has extended the last date of registration for First Year Junior College (FYJC) Admissions 2025. Eligible students can now register online until June 3, 2025, on the official portal at mahafyjcadmissions.in.

FYJC Admission Process Details:

- Students must fill in at least one and a maximum of ten junior college choices.

- Allocation will be carried out on the basis of preference, marks, and relevant reservation information given in the application.

- Students are allowed to apply for Quota seats (Management, In-house, Minority) in the Zero Round, but they have to provide consent at every admission round.

- Students who are not admitted in a round can modify their stream and college preferences in future rounds.

As per the revised timetable, the provisional general merit list will be declared on June 5, 2025. Objections or correction requests can be submitted by students through the grievance redressal system on student login from June 6 to June 7. The final merit list will be declared on June 8, 2025.

This year, 9,281 junior colleges in Maharashtra are offering a total of 20.43 lakh seats. There are 8,52,206 seats available in the Science stream, which has the most, followed by the Arts stream (6,50,682) and the Commerce stream 540,312.
