Is Shraddha Kapoor all set to slay as a Maharashtrian in 'Chhaava' director Laxman Uttekar’s next film? Here’s what you need to know!

With Shraddha Kapoor reportedly teaming up with Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Uttekar, fans are buzzing over a fresh, culture-rich blockbuster in the making!
Shraddha Kapoor’s recent spotting outside Maddock Films’ office in Mumbai has brewed fresh rumours, leading fans to speculate about a possible new project with the production house. Rumour has it that the actress was at Maddock Films for a creative discussion with Dinesh Vijan — stirring excitement about a potential reunion.
A source close to the development revealed to Pinkvilla, “Shraddha Kapoor met Dinesh Vijan, and the duo were accompanied by Chhaava director, Laxman Uttekar, too. Laxman and Shraddha discussed a script, which the latter has loved and principally agreed on. If everything goes well, Shraddha Kapoor will spearhead Laxman Uttekar’s next directorial after Chhaava.”
Meanwhile, Laxman Uttekar and Dinesh Vijan are also gearing up for an ambitious three-hero project, which they plan to take to floors by 2026 or 2027, featuring three of Indian cinema’s biggest stars. At the same time, Vijan is expanding his successful horror-comedy universe at full throttle, with well-structured plans and multiple films currently in development under the banner.
If the stars align, the proposed collaboration with Shraddha Kapoor will mark her next major outing after the success of Stree 2, adding yet another intriguing chapter to her career.
Though talks are still in its early stages, all signs point toward something exciting being cooked behind the scenes. Given Shraddha Kapoor’s strong rapport with Maddock Films, the reunion seems highly possible.
Maddock Films is also prepping Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, slated for a grand release this Diwali.
