Ex-MLA From BJP Killed On Same Highway 4 Days Ago

The accident site was just a short distance from the location where, only four days earlier, former BJP MLA R.T. Deshmukh tragically lost his life in another road mishap on the same highway. In that case, the driver reported that rainwater had accumulated on the road and splashed onto the windshield, obstructing his vision.

In an attempt to brake suddenly, the vehicle lost control, skidded, and overturned multiple times. Deshmukh sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead upon arrival at Sahyadri Hospital in Latur.
