Mumbai accountant awarded Rs 58.2 lakh by MACT after losing leg in bus accident

A Mumbai accountant, injured in a 2021 bus accident that cost him his left leg, has been awarded ₹58.26 lakh by a Thane tribunal. The accident occurred on the Western Express Highway when a speeding bus struck his motorcycle. The victim, whose monthly salary was ₹25,000, had to resign from his job due to his injuries.
