'Savarkar is relative of Nathuram Godse,' Rahul Gandhi claims in affidavit filed in special Pune court

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has claimed Vinayak Savarkar was related to Mahatma Gandhi's assassin, Nathuram Godse. In court, Gandhi accused Satyaki Savarkar of concealing his maternal link to the Godse family. Gandhi's application references historical documentation showing both Godse and Savarkar as proponents of "Hindu Nation", who viewed Muslims and Christians as unsuitable for India.
