Employee On 'Sick Leave' Goes On Coorg Trip, Gets Caught In Viral Video From Homestay
Taking a fake sick leave might seem like an easy escape plan, until your bosses catches you. That’s exactly what happened to one employee who claimed to be unwell but ended up going viral from a travel destination, not admitted to a hospital bed but relaxing at a homestay.
In a now-viral Reddit post, the employee shared how he had taken a Friday off last month, telling his manager he had stomach flu. But instead of resting at home, he took off on a trip to Coorg, a scenic hill station in South India.
All seemed to be going well until someone at the homestay posted a reel on Instagram, that captured this employee in the background. The reel featured someone dancing joyfully, but there, in the background, was the employee clearly visible, enjoying his “sick” day off.
