'Never Gave Consent': Jisoo's Brother Accused Of Secretly Recording Sex Tape With Woman, Showing It To Friends

South Korean girl band BLACKPINK's Jisoo found herself surrounded by a major controversy after a woman accused her brother, Kim Jung Hun, of secretly recording her sex tape and showing it to his friends. The woman also claimed that Kim is a serial offender, and has done the same with multiple women.

A post was anonymously uploaded on the Korean platform Blind, titled 'I was illegally filmed by BLACKPINK Jisoo’s brother', on May 29. In the post, a woman alleged that she had a sexual encounter with Kim at his residence once, and she later found out that he had recorded the act using a hidden camera in the room. "I couldn’t believe it. What made it worse was learning that he had shown the video to his acquaintances and even bragged about having multiple recordings of different women," she claimed.

The woman in the post also alleged that Kim had his escapades with multiple women even when his wife was pregnant. "He treated women like sexual objects and ignored their consent and feelings. I never gave my consent. I did not know I was being filmed. I am a victim," she stated.

Amid the controversy, fans of Jisoo urged netizens to not drag the singer into the controversy. "This may be true, but I feel bad because I'm not a BLACKPINK fan. However, I like Jisoo she's a good person and has nothing to do with what her brother did (sic)," a fan defended, while another wrote, "Jisoo isn’t accountable for her brother’s actions. It’s best not to engage with or spread posts that fuel baseless rumour (sic)."

Meanwhile, Jisoo's brother denied the allegations and stated that he was now contemplating legal action against the anonymous publisher.

On the other hand, Jisoo's team said, "We are currently checking the facts."
