Dulquer Salmaan has made history as the first Malayalam actor to win a Telangana State Film Award, securing the Special Jury Award for Best Actor for his role in the Telugu hit ‘Lucky Baskhar’. The film also won Third Best Film, Best Editor for Navin Nooli, and Best Screenplay Writer for director Venky Atluri. ‘Lucky Baskhar’, a pan-Indian blockbuster set against the 1992 Bombay Stock Exchange scam, has garnered widespread acclaim.
