Unnatural sex against wife’s will & assault amount to cruelty: Madhya Pradesh HC

The Madhya Pradesh High Court ruled that forcing unnatural sex on a wife, accompanied by physical assault, constitutes cruelty under IPC section 498A, upholding an FIR against the husband. While acknowledging that 'marital rape' isn't an offense under current law, the court quashed charges under IPC sections 377 and 376.
