Rahul Vaidya Predicts RCB's IPL 2025 Win Days After Calling Virat Kohli's Fans 'Jokers', Gets Brutally Trolled (VIDEO)

Singer Rahul Vaidya, who was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport, is once again made headlines with his latest statement about cricketer Virat Kohli and the ongoing Indian Premiere League. Despite being at odds with Kohli's fans earlier this month, the Bigg Boss fame singer has now extended his support to Kohli's team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), predicting their win in IPL 2025.

Rahul, known for his love of cricket, shared his thoughts with paparazzi at the airport. "Iss baar pata hai kya hai... RCB ek baar bhi cup nahi jeeti hai. Toh iss baar dil se ye feeling hai ki RCB jeetegi. Aur Virat toh aap sab jaante hi hai," he said, expressing hope for RCB to finally lift the trophy.

However, the shift in Rahul's tone did not sit well with Kohli's fans. Soon after the video was shared by Instant Bollywood on Instagram, netizens brutally trolled the singer for doing a sudden U-turn. The backlash stems from Rahul's earlier comments, where he slammed Kohli's fanbase and revealed he was blocked by the cricketer on Instagram.

Reacting to the clip, a user commented, "Jab se Kohli ke fan ne isse toda hai pakad kar tab se shant ho gaya hai."

"Aa gaya na line pe," wrote another fan. "Line per aaay gaye RCB jeeta ga ❤️❤️ Virat is king," a comment read.

"Ache ache drrr jate hai virat kee fankar se y to phir bhi Rahul hai Apna yrrrr," wrote a user while another commented, "Sry bolne ka tarika thoda casual hai."

"This is what happens when you target someone for fame but you get caught," read a comment.

"Insane itna dogla bhi hota h ye proof kar diya isne," wrote another Instagram user.

Here's how others reacted:

On May 5, Rahul sparked controversy by calling Kohli's fans 'jokers' in an Instagram story, and later claimed they were also abusing his family. "And now u r abusing me that's fine but u r abusing my wife, my sister… who have nothing to do with this! So I was right that's why you all Virat Kohli fans are jokers! 2 kaudi ke jokers," he had written.

In an interview with Telly Talk India a few days back, Rahul opened up about the online harassment he faced.

"What upset me the most in this row was how I was targetted and my family was targetted and abused. I received death threats… ‘Jaan se maar dunga, kabhi dikhna mat’, Kohli's fans said. And people can get away with writing such things because there is no accountability on the internet," he said. He also called for stricter action against trolls who issue threats and hide behind anonymity online.

Interestingly, Rahul also revealed later that Kohli had eventually unblocked him on Instagram and even praised him. Though Kohli has not commented publicly on the issue, Rahul appears to have moved on, calling the star batsman "the best" and showing support for his team RCB.
