Mahadangal: Rajnath Singh compares PoK’s bond with India to Maharana Pratap and his brother’s loyalty | ABP NEWS
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has issued a strong and hopeful message regarding the future of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), likening the relationship between PoK and India to the bond between Maharana Pratap and his younger brother Shakti Singh. Rajnath Singh emphasized that just as Shakti Singh eventually returned to his brother’s side, the day is not far when PoK will declare itself a part of India and return to the Indian mainstream. This statement comes amid ongoing debates about India’s efforts to reclaim PoK and the effectiveness of operations like Operation Sindoor. Rajnath Singh’s remarks suggest India remains committed to this goal, despite challenges. The minister referred to India’s military successes against Pakistan, such as surgical strikes and airbase attacks, and criticized past political hesitations. With India holding about 93,708 sq km of Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan controlling approximately 90,993 sq km, and China having 3,755 sq km, the territorial issue remains complex. However, Rajnath Singh’s words reinforce India’s determination to bring PoK back under Indian sovereignty. The government’s strong stance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership is clear, as the nation awaits further developments in this longstanding dispute.
