This is the result of a recruitment exam taken on January 19, 2025, to hire for teaching positions in government schools around the state. The Assam TET 2025 test was held to recruit 9,717 teaching vacancies. The division of vacancies is as follows:

1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): 1,487 posts

2. Graduate Teacher (GT): 8,230 vacancies throughout different subjects, including Arts, Science, Hindi, and Sanskrit.
