Rajasthan Board Declares Class 5 Results: 97.47% Students Pass Exam, Girls Outperform Boys

The Rajasthan Council of School Education has announced the Class 5 exam results, with an impressive 97.47% pass rate among over 1.33 million students. The results were unveiled via video conferencing by state Education Minister Madan Dilawar from the Panchayat Samiti office in Jahazpur, Bhilwara district.

Congratulating all successful students, Dilawar expressed pride in Rajasthan’s educational progress and acknowledged the efforts of teachers and school staff for contributing to the strong performance. According to the minister, the Class 5 examinations for the year 2025 were conducted from April 7 to 17 across 18,598 centres in the state. A total of 13,30,190 students appeared for the exam, out of which 12,96,495 passed. The overall pass percentage rose by 0.41% compared to the previous year.

Girls outshone boys this year, with a pass percentage of 97.66% compared to 97.29% for boys, marking a 0.37% lead for girls.

Results for 2,145 students have been withheld due to various reasons and will be released separately. Additionally, 31,550 students have been placed in the supplementary category for failing in one or more subjects. Supplementary exams are scheduled for August 2025.

The Class 5 results are issued in a grade-based format, with no numerical marks displayed on the report cards.

Following the result announcement, Dilawar held a review meeting with district development officers at the same venue. He directed officials to accelerate preparations for upcoming plantation drives, including pit digging and site identification, in alignment with gram panchayat targets.

94.08% Students Clear RBSE Class 12 Exams

Earlier, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education released the results for the 2025 Class-10 examinations. This year, 93.06% of the students cleared the exams, which is an improvement over the previous years' results. Girls scored better than boys in the exams this year, with a 94.08% pass rate. The pass percentage for boys, on the other hand, was 93.16.

Nearly 11 lakh students registered for the exams this year. The number of boys appearing for the RBSE Class-10 exams this year was 5,75,554. The number was lower for girls at 5,18,632.
