Shocker! Feeling Nauseous, 21-Year-Old Newlywed Woman Falls Off Moving Train In MP's Shivpuri, Dies; Husband Pulls Chain To Find Her Body
Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): In a tragic incident, a 21-year-old newly married woman fell out of a moving train and died near Ratour Road railway track in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri.
According to information, the deceased has been identified as Shivani Sharma. She was married to advocate Vikas Joshi from Gwalior on April 16.
Shivani was a law student from Orai, Jalaun and had recently gone to give her exams with her husband.
After the exams, the couple returned to Gwalior and boarded a train to Indore on Tuesday evening.
Shivani’s husband Vikas, who practices law in Indore, said that shortly after the train left Shivpuri railway station, Shivani began feeling unwell and went to stand near the door of the S4 coach.
Vikas went to their seat to get water, but when he returned, Shivani was missing. A fellow passenger informed him that she had slipped and fallen off the moving train.
In panic and shock, Vikas pulled the emergency chain and jumped off the train. By that time, the train had moved nearly a kilometer ahead. In the dark, he searched for his wife and found her near Ratour crossing. A passing car helped take them to the district hospital, but doctors declared Shivani dead on arrival.
The Kotwali police have registered a case and started an investigation. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family on Thursday afternoon.
