Four RCB Stars Who Featured In Last Year's IPL Final Too

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have secured their place in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final after defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 8 wickets in Qualifier 1. This marks RCB's first appearance in an IPL final since 2016, and the team led by Virat Kohli will be desperate to end their 17-year wait for the title.

Interestingly, four players in the current RCB squad were part of last season's IPL 2024 final - but with different teams.

These 4 RCB Players Played IPL 2024 Final

During the IPL 2025 mega auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) faced criticism for not assembling a high-profile squad. However, several of their picks have turned out to be match-winners.

Phil Salt and Suyash Sharma were part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team that reached the 2024 final.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mayank Agarwal played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in that same match.

All Four Have Stepped Up for RCB in 2025

Veteran bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has taken 15 wickets in 13 games this season, providing vital breakthroughs.

Hard-hitting batter Phil Salt has been exceptional at the top of the order, forming a strong opening partnership with Virat Kohli.

Stylish spinner Suyash Sharma has grabbed 8 wickets in 13 matches, often used as an Impact Player. He was particularly effective in Qualifier 1, picking up 3 key wickets.

Senior batter Mayank Agarwal, brought in mid-season to replace the injured Devdutt Padikkal, played a key knock in the last league match against Lucknow Super Giants, which helped Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secure a top-two finish.

Now, all four are aiming to go one step further and lift the trophy with RCB - a feat that has eluded the franchise since the inception of the IPL.
