Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Forgets PM Modi's Name on Stage, Calls Him Atal Bihari Vajpayee (VIDEO)
Karakat: A video of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's gaffe is going viral on social media. In the video, the CM appeared to have forgotten Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name and referred to him as Atal Bihari Vajpayee while addressing a public rally in Karakat.
The gaffe, though brief, has grabbed the attention of many. It can be seen the video, CM Kumar momentarily fumbles when referring to the Prime Minister, pausing awkwardly before calling him Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Kumar tries to cover his mistake by saying, "Atal Bihari Vajpayee toh phele kaam kiye the." Which roughly translates to, "Atal Bihari Vajpayee did development work earlier." He then asks the crowd to stand up and greet the Prime Minister.
Earlier in January, Kumar was seen suddenly clapping during a solemn tribute to Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary. Earlier in March, a video of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laughing and chatting during the National Anthem at a sports event in Patna had gone viral.
Earlier in the day, during his Bihar visit to Bihar PM Modi said, "Aatankvaad ke khilaaf Bharat ki ladaai na ruki hai na thami hai. Aatank ka fann agar phir uthega to Bharat use bil se kheench kar kuchalne ka kaam karega. Hamari ladaai desh ke har dushman se hai. Phir wo chahe seema paar ho ya desh ke bheetar ho"
